I think it is somewhere between the pistons, rods, wrist pins, and berings. It would seem that people who install aftermaket parts have had several bearing failures as well. I am in a holding pattern until further notice. As far as the decision you have to make, my opinion is that the installation as a whole is far more important than one piston v/s another. All of these manuf should be holding good tolerances. One big difference in pistons is the material of make up. The comp of the metal determines its expansion rate and so on and so forth. Weisco is a great company and they have been around for a while like eagle. Please let me know as you get further details, and I will do the same...
